Colour Trend: Jewel Tones and How to Shop The Look

I have this pair of large blown glass vases – one a proper vintage beauty in a sort of citrine yellow colour, the other a contemporary piece in a deep purple sapphire shade. They look great together on my tomato red side table, great against dark grey walls, and they really seem to stand out now that the season’s changing and I’ve been staring at moody, sip-a-whisky-by-the-fire style interiors on Pinterest more. This is just a long winded way of saying that homewares accessories in jewel tones are having a moment now that we’re facing up to autumn. Below is my pick of the best that you can shop. Try these pieces against a dark wall in Tanners Brown or Hague Blue for best results.
